Modernization is The Key
I had the chance to listen to the Chief Strategist of State Street Bank at the CIO 100 event. She was talking about the transformation of IT and the fact that State Street is constantly changing its IT infrastructure to match the business need while consistently maintaining or reducing costs. Really the company is in a constant modernization cycle to keep up with the needs of the business. When thinking about this isn't every IT organization in the same boat? Modernization is the key to nimble IT infrastructures which lead to solving business challenges when they need it most.
