Why is Single Sign-On important to you?

According to the 2005 RSA Security Password Management Survey, over a quarter of respondents must manage more than 13 passwords at work, and nine out of ten respondents are frustrated with the password management challenge. This frustration is leading to behaviors that could jeopardize IT security, as well as compliance initiatives. Built-in Support for RSA SecurID technology - Organizations deploying RSA Sign-On Manager software can leverage their existing RSA SecurID infrastructure to provide strong two-factor authentication to their initial desktop login without added cost or complexity.

Single Sign-On to RSA SecurID Ready Applications - Extends security and increases usability by adding the ability to seamlessly logon to applications protected by RSA SecurID technology (e.g., Microsoft Outlook® Web Access (OWA), VPN, financial systems). Using the RSA SecurID SID800 USB-enabled authenticator in a "connected" mode or leveraging RSA SecurID software tokens, customers may have the one-time passcode automatically submitted to strongly-protected applications.

Extended Self-Service Capabilities - IntelliAccess™ technology now provides self-service in the event of a lost or misplaced RSA SecurID token, enabling users to access Windows desktops, VPNs and wireless applications when disconnected from the network, without calling the helpdesk, saving time and money.

Integrated Desktop Client - Delivers the first integrated desktop client which marries Enterprise Single Sign-On (ESSO) and emergency access, and integrates RSA SecurID for Microsoft Windows technology.
